All of us need one or the other therapy. Hard to believe, but it is true, as somewhere down the lane, all of us seem to have lost our sense of wholeness. This wholeness is shattered into a million pieces when our consciousness collides with a solid block in the form of our physical body. These pieces tend to move away from each other over time until they are finally lost. Since we tend to want to get back to being wholesome again, we attempt to gather whatever is left of those pieces and set up a model with them. Alas, this is where things mess up, and this is probably why we need Spiritual Therapy. The collision between our consciousness and body, and the resulting fragmentation of our wholeness would leave us scared and vulnerable. Fear of the unknown leads to the rise of thoughts related to the same. We tend to hold onto these fear- based thoughts in an attempt to recreate our wholeness.
With time, these thoughts would settle down in our minds, creating deeply layered patterns, which would confuse us and yet make us fight for them. The new identity we create for ourselves overshadows our true self and we find it hard to let go of this new identity for fear of losing our wholeness again.Over time, we develop a defender for this newfound wholeness and place an entity in it. This entity has one role alone, to keep us locked onto the wholeness, come what may. This leads to the formation of an artificial personality or ego that would become entrenched with our lives, turning us into canny, rigid individuals. The surprising fact is that we have adjusted to this new personality/ego so well that we feel it is normal and this is what we are. However, despite doing our best at every other instance, we cannot help but feel that something is not right somewhere. We are at a loss to understand why as well. We attempt to hide the pain of not being our true selves by resorting to compensations and diversions in order to get temporary relief.
However, it will not be long before we wake up to realize the predicament we are in. That is probably when we would come to understand the need for spiritual therapy to help us regain our true lives.Spiritual therapy would help one look inside and find out ways to heal and regain the lost pieces of wholeness. The soul would want to be nurtured at t his stage and would need all the support it can get to embark on this journey of self-recovery. Once the journey starts, there is no looking back, as the pieces are gathered to create yet another personality/ego that would take us closer to our true selves.
