Fluidotherapy: Dry Heat Therapy for curative effect on tissues

Fluidotherapy is that type of dry heat therapy, which makes the use of cellulose particles that are suspended in air. The main aim of this therapy is to treat and cause the healing effect by using heat. Heat units, which are used in the treatment, generally come in different sizes. However, some can be specially designed for the hand and feet or according to the patient's requirement.Fluidotherapy was coined in early 1970s, which has been used effectively in the healing of tissue.

There are a variety of heat treatments used, but in this therapy, heat is applied to the body part that is inflamed or injured and painful. This therapy provides relief against pain, reduces the local blockage, improve the blood circulation and provides muscular relaxation.

Fluidotherapy is a dry heat therapy, which is made up of fine solids suspended in air. It causes vasodilatation and enhances the flow to required part.

Turbulence of the blend in the machine, results in a thermal contact with anything that is inserted inside. The balanced particles come in contact with the skin and enables healing of injury.The part of the body, which requires treatment is placed inside the machine.

The machine includes heated suspended particles of Cellux that rotate around that body part. They thus come in contact with the skin and embark on the therapeutic process. The patient can easily move his body while their body part is inserted in the machine. These are in the form of movement exercise and are to be performed as per the instructions of the therapist.This therapy is contraindicated in case of open wounds because in this, the skin comes in direct contact with the mixture. Also, contraindicated in severe circulatory problems as in these case the body temperature might rise and may cause fever.
